Ironman 70.3: Rachel Clausing, world champion
The Ironman World Championship took place on September 7th in Nice.
Our partner club, AS Monaco Triathlon lined up 11 athletes and came home with 2 medals.
A world champion in the Monegasque club
In the 35 years old category, Rachel Clausing became the Ironman 70.3 world champion for a race in 4h59m56s. An “exceptional performance” for Pierre Ballerio, President of AS Monaco Triathlon.
Another athlete finished on the podium. It was Laurent Lambert who finished one place in the grail in the AG45 category (4h29m02s).
